G series AntiMode calibration

Hi,

I have been looking at room correction for the Genelec G home series similar to what GLM does for the SAM studio monitors.

The AntiMode 2.0 Dual Core seems to be a possible solution, what would be the best way to connect an F two sub and a pair of G Three monitors to an AntiMode Dual Core device?

Thanks..

Hello!

If you are using AntiMode-device as a preamp, then you would connect by XLR cable.

From AntiMode XLR-output to F2 subwoofer XLR-input, then from subwoofer XLR output you would connect to the main speakers (G3). In this setup, the sub will not give anything below 85Hz to the G3 speakers. You would not apply any manual room corrections to the F2 sub or G3 speakers using DIP-switches, instead you would let the AntiMode device do all these corrections.

May I ask if you have demoed any SAM speakers with GLM software?

Hi,

The problem with the SAM series is the appearance of the sub, i cant get agreement to put a 7350 sub in the living room (WAF).

An F2 sub with autocal would be ideal if it existed for now though i think the anti-mode will help.

Thanks for the connection info, thats great.
