Hair styles and Aural ID video submission

I noticed in the Aural ID example video for video submission that the people in the video had the sides of their head shaved.  I have what might be considered an "normal" short haircut for a male.  How much does a hair style affect the results of the photogrammetry?  Should I shave my head before recording the video to get the best possible results?

Hi There!

Long hair or beard only become issues when they start hindering visibility of the external ear and major head shapes. We give recommendations for preparing to video shoot in https://auralid.genelec.com/downloads/aural_id_user_manual-2019-05-14-v3.pdf and the main principle is that it is useful to collect long hair so that the external ear and head shapes become visible on the video.

Wow, I didn't know it's so important what hairstyle you have and how long is your hair, thanks for sharing the info and discussing this topic. The only thing that I was attentive to while recording is the sound and also the light in the room. Because when I edit the videos https://www.fastreel.com I make sure that everything looks perfect and I only need to put some text tags on the video and that's all. :D
